If you believe your wedding day should be stress-free and intentional… you’re in the right place.

Heyy! I am Rachel!

I am the photographer with a love for helping plan your day intentionally so I can turn around and capture the joy and adventure of your wedding day! I am the calm and aware kind of hype girl. The one who will protect your peace, help you plan who will and can make decisions before the wedding day, and helps you stay present and grounded so you can celebrate perfectly! If that sounds like a half wedding photographer with a little bit of wedding planner, that is truly what you get with me.

You need a photographer that allows you to be present

My style is cinematic, combining emotions into a little bit of documentary and editorial. I gently prompt, pose or step back to allow moments to happen. I give unique opportunities to connect with the people who are important to you on the wedding day.  I want your photos to feel like you are watching a movie!

More than anything... I believe your wedding day is not just another photoshoot. It is a moment, covenant, celebration and an adventure. I don't need "more stuff for my portfolio" (trust me I have enough stunning portfolio from styled shoots that are probably sitting on a hard drive somewhere), I am happy to create the vibe you want for your portraits, and we will plan around what feels most like you for photos, whether that is spending all of cocktail hour with perfectly lit portraits, or giving you back time you thought you would miss... because for real, cocktail hour food and apps are amazing!

Being present means enjoying the day because we planned for the anxieties

Each of my couples has full access to me throughout their wedding planning, whether you are doing it all yourself or hiring someone to professionally curate your day.

I will be there as a resource, as a gentle reminder for you to keep your wedding intentional, and to give you permission to skip or embrace the traditions and trends, and helping you think through your values, and the meaning and value of all of the different moments...

Just remember, that little bit anxiety or nervousness before or on your wedding day is actually a good thing...

If it was not important, you wouldn't be anxious, so let's take a breath, and when you are ready let's go!
